SRMJEEE 2019 Exam Dates to Clash with JEE Main 2019

SRMJEEE 2019 is scheduled to be held between April 15-25, 2019 and coincidentally NTA will conduct the second phase of JEE Mains during April 06-20, 2019. There is a very strong probability that the date of both examinations might clash. Examinations scheduled between April 15-20 are more likely to clash, as JEE Main will get over on April 20, 2019.

JEE Main is a national level examination of very high importance and is a gateway to the country’s most reputed Engineering institutes. However, in the case of date clash, the decision to appear in either of the examinations is based on the candidate’s priority.

The SRM Institute of Science and Technology will conduct SRMJEEE (SRM Joint Entrance Engineering Examination) for admission to the B.Tech program offered by the institute. Aspirant seeking admission to any SRM institute shall first check the eligibility criteria and then apply for the examination. SRMJEEE Application form are available on the official website of SRM University from October 27, 2018, and will conclude on March 31, 2019. Registration could be done in both online and offline modes. Candidates could fill up the SRMJEEE Application form online from the official website of the university.

SRMJEEE 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for SRMJEEE 2019 it is advisable to check the eligibility criteria to avoid the rejection of the application. The eligibility criteria include parameters like age, qualification, nationality, and more. The conducting body sets the criteria for the aspirants and it is mandatory for the candidates to meet the criterion.

Age: Those born between July 01, 1998 and July 01, 2003 are eligible to appear in SRMJEEE 2019.

Nationality: candidates of Indian nationality are eligible while Non-resident Indians and PIO or OCI card holders are also considered eligible as permitted by the GOI.

Kashmiri Migrants: The Kashmiri migrants are given relaxation in SRMJEEE subject to minimum eligibility requirement as suggested by UGC.

Direct Admission: SRM offers direct admission and academic scholarships to the toppers of all Central and State Board, top 1000 scorers of JEE Mains, top scorers of each in Tamil Nadu and sportspersons with the exemplary performance at National and International levels.

Qualifying Examination

• Aspirants who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with minimum 50% aggregate marks in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics from any state or central board of examination viz. CBSE, ISCE, or NIOS are considered eligible for SRMJEEE 2019.
• Those appearing in 10+2 in the current academic year are considered eligible to apply for SRMJEEE.
• Applicants who have passed their both Class 10th and 12th from NIOS are not eligible for SRMJEEE.
• International Baccalaureate (IB) with Diploma or A-level with Chemistry, Physics, Biology/ Mathematics/ Biotechnology/ Botany/ Zoology from any international school are eligible to appear in SRMJEEE.

Once the registration is complete a unique id and password will be sent to the registered phone number and email id. Use the credentials to log in and fill in the application form.
